Have you ever wanted to meet Phil Liggett, the voice of cycling, in person? Have you ever wanted to speak to Mike Tomalaris about his thoughts on the latest cycling legends? Well now you can.
Experience the excitement and challenge of riding the Scody Australian Open Road Cycling Championships circuit, just as the professionals do. At 8am on Sunday 10 January, recreational riders will have the opportunity to ride Australia’s most prestigious cycling course just hours before the Scody Men’s Open Road Race.
So register now and bring your bike along to Ballarat to ride Australia’s leading road circuit with two SBS Tour de France legendary commentators.
How do I register?
You can enter the recreational ride in several ways:
- Download the entry form here and send it to Caribou Publications, PO Box 4162, Geelong Vic 3220
- Call Caribou Publications on 03 5224 2466 and have an entry form sent to you
- Sign on in person at the Phil and Mike Marquee at the time trial in Buninyong (Wednesday 6 Jan), criterium championships in Sturt Street Ballarat (Thursday 7 Jan) or from 6am to 7.30am at the start line in Buninyong on the morning of the ride (Sunday 10 Jan)
Entry fee is $30 for adults and $10 for children under 16.
All participants must register and wear their ride number during the ride for random prizes and general identification.
